For the most of Max tutorials / beginners course, you would learn how to build a monophonic (= homophonic) synthesizer, and it can not play more than 2 notes at the same time.
In this tutorial, I’ll introduce how to make a polyphonic synthesizer with “poly~” object, which is a little complicated but super useful when you try making the other sound synthesis.
